Low Noise Amplifiers

RPG Low Noise Amplifiers are developed and manufactured using the most modern discrete components and thin film technologies, in order to cover the frequency range 50 to 350 GHz. With improved DC-supply and modern semiconductors these amplifiers not only deliver low noise performance but also broad operating bandwidth and gain flatness. These low-noise amplifiers are available as a standard product and on request as customized manufactured product.

Millimeter-wave measurements in the V, E, W, F, D, G, J and Y band – network analysis in frequency ranges from 50 GHz to 500 GHz depending on the converter model. Featuring a wide dynamic range, the RPG converters offer high operating convenience and allow fast measurements. Two-port measurements can be performed using a four-port network analyzer and two converters; no external generator is required. When using a two-port network analyzer, an external generator is needed to supply the LO signals.

Waveguide Faraday Isolators

RPG offers a series of fullband Faraday isolators. They cover the frequency range of 50 to 220 GHz. These isolators are Faraday rotation type ferrite devices with bandwidths covering a full waveguide band. They are compact and lightweight and provide much greater isolation than waveguide junction isolators.

Millimeter-wave Receiver

The RPG ZRXxxxL millimeter-wave receiver are optional for the following four-port vector network analyzers: R&S®ZVA24, R&S®ZVA40, R&S®ZVA50 or R&S®ZVA67, and R&S®ZVT20 (not suitable for RPG ZRX500L) with at least four ports. The converters facilitate measurements in the millimeter-wave frequency range. The RPG ZRXxxxL millimeter-wave receiver are available for the frequency bands from 50 GHz to 75 GHz (RPG ZRX75L), from 75 GHz to 110 GHz (RPG ZRX110L), from 220 GHz to 330 GHz (RPG ZRX330L) and from 330 GHz to 500 GHz (RPG ZRX500L). Other frequency bands are covered by other models from the RPG ZRXxxx receiver or R&S®ZCxxx converter series.
