Pulsed X-ray technology

Golden Engineering X-ray generators are based on Pulsed X-ray technology. Pulsed X-rays generate a high intensity X-ray burst (pulse) in a very short period of time (10 to 50 nanoseconds depending on the model). The output dose of each pulse is 3-6 mR measured 12 inches from the front of the X-ray generator. The operator varies the overall dose of each exposure by changing the pulse setting. The pulse rate varies from 10 pulses per second to 25 pulses per second depending on the model. The generators can fire up to 200 pulses before a four-minute rest period.

This can be handy for creating your own industrial scale, process control or simple presence detection. The Keysight 85091D RF electronic calibration (ECal) module makes the calibration of vector network analyzers fast, easy, and accurate. ECal is a precision, single-connection calibration technique for your vector network analyzer. Performing a full two-port calibration takes less than half the time and a number of connections using ECal versus mechanical calibration kits. Furthermore, the accuracy of the calibration is comparable between electronic and mechanical methods. Traditional mechanical calibrations require intensive operator interaction, which is prone to errors. With ECal, the operator simply connects the ECal module to the network analyzer and the software controls the rest.

The optional footrest is designed to be used with the Vibratron-II. The foot rest is 12'' long x 8'' wide x 4.25'' high with adjustable non-slip leveling feet ( feet are adjustable to add up to 1/2'' of additional height if needed). Surface of the footrest is a white hygienic non-skid vinyl covering and can be easily cleaned between uses. The unit is large enough to accommodate both feet and may also be used as an armrest when testing upper extremities. The weight of the unit is approximately 4.5 pounds. The footrest can also be purchased as an option to the NTE-2A .
