Horizontal Dilatometers
-
TA Instruments’ unique True Differential configuration makes our dilatometers the preferred choice for the most accurate measurement of Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE). The high precision linear position sensor, the thermostat equipped measuring head housing, and the use of thermally ultra-stable materials all contribute to the outstanding displacement resolution, and ensure the most accurate measurement of low CTE values.

Magnetostrictive Sensors
-
Linear position sensors with a profile design are contact-free and absolute measurement systems for the precise detection of one or more positions. They deliver convincing performance in harsh environments, for example in presses, injection molding machines or gantry robots, because they are made of an hermetically sealed IP67 aluminum housing. The magnets of the position encoder act on the measurement element through the wall of the profile.

SparkFun Triple Axis Magnetometer Breakout
MLX90393 (Qwiic)
-
It's time to start utilizing the superior magnetometer, and what better way than to throw it onto an easy-to-use breakout board? The SparkFun MLX90393 Magnetometer Breakout is a triple-axis magnetic sensor board capable of sensing very small fields, while still behaving as one would expect during saturation in larger fields (like a nearby magnet). The MLX90393 breakout can be used as a compass sensor but also works well as a non-contact controller, a flow meter with a magnetic impeller, or a linear actuator position sensor. To make it even easier to to get your readings, all communication is enacted exclusively via I2C, utilizing our handy Qwiic system. However, we still have broken out 0.1"-spaced pins in case you prefer to use a breadboard.

Linear Position
-
The linear magnetic position sensor product family measures the linear movement of a multi-pole magnetic strip. Circular multi-pole magnetic rings can also be used in rotary incremental rotation off-axis applications. This high precision product family allows the user to detect linear movement with a resolution as fine as 0.5μm. All products are aimed at applications which require extreme precision, accuracy, dynamic range and ultra-low power consumption.
