Microscope Photoluminescence Spectrometer
Flex One
-
Photoluminescence (PL) is the light emission from a material under the excitation by ultraviolet, visible or near infrared radiation. In semiconductor luminescent property measurements, the sample (e.g. GaN, ZnO, GaAs etc.) was usually excited by a laser (with a wavelength of 325 nm, 532 nm, 785 nm etc.), and its PL spectrum is measured to analyze the optical physical properties, such as the band gap width etc.. Photoluminescence is a high sensitivity, non-destructive analysis method, which can provide the information about the structure, composition and surrounding atomic arrangement of materials. Therefore, it is widely used in physics, materials science, chemistry and molecular biology and other related fields.

UV Chamber
-
In PV modules, many different components are exposed to the sunlight. Therefore, the IEC 61215 defines a UV preconditioning test (MQT 10) to test whether these components can withstand the UV radiation of the sun. In our test chamber, the UV radiation is up to five times the sun intensity to accelerate the test, as requested in the UV preconditioning test.

Principle Of MALDI/TOFMS
-
MALDI is the abbreviation for "Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization." The sample for MALDI is uniformly mixed in a large quantity of matrix. The matrix absorbs the ultraviolet light (nitrogen laser light, wavelength 337 nm) and converts it to heat energy. A small part of the matrix (down to 100 nm from the top outer surface of the Analyte in the diagram) heats rapidly (in several nano seconds) and is vaporized, together with the sample.

Pulse Characterization Sensors
-
Pulse Characterization Sensors provide the ability to see and measure the temporal characteristics of pulsed and CW laser beams. Ophir Fast Photodiode Detectors are designed to convert optical signals into electrical signals which are then measured with third-party instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers. Accessories are available to connect to IS6 integrating spheres or fiber optic cables. Attenuating filter accessories are also available to increase their dynamic range. Different models offer silicon, UV enhanced silicon and InGaAs PIN photodiodes, covering a combined spectral range of 193 nm to 1700 nm. Rise times range from 25 picoseconds to 3 nanoseconds. The fast rise times are achieved by an internal reverse bias voltage circuit. Power is supplied by internal batteries and/or an external power supply depending on the model. Detectors should be connected to a 50Ω impedance in order to maintain their nominal rise times. They can be connected to higher impedance loads, but this will result in a significant increase in the rise time. If higher output voltage is required, it is recommended to connect the detector to a trans-impedance amplifier with an Input impedance of 50Ω
