Designed for testing heavy massive boards. Boards with heavy components like large transformers and inductors can destroy normal test fixtures. This design utilizes a 3 plate system where an internal lever actuated sub plate containing the test pins raises to probe the circuit board when the handle is pulled. Heavy boards can bend and break exposed test pins. Similarly large boards which need to be probed by very small delicate test pins can also benefit from this protected test fixture design. This fixture is recommended in situations where there is a high board mass to pin size ratio and pin protection is required. The IRU152 is powered by the low-power NXP i.MX 6 UltraLite processer. It can withstand an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C and up to 2G of vibration for operating in harsh environments. Furthermore, it supports NI LabVIEW to allow users to design graphical user interfaces for their measurement applications quickly and efficiently. In order to provide data collection and device control, the IRU152 comes with various I/O connectors, including four analog input (AI) channels, one isolated RS-232/422/485 port, one isolated LAN and one isolated DIO (2-in/2-out). The four analog input channels have differential input configuration and overvoltage protection of 55V DC. The maximum sampling rate of IRU152 is up to 250 kS/s with a 16-bit resolution for low-speed high-resolution sensor monitoring and signal measurements. Apart from the abovementioned features, the IRU152 comes in two PCI Express Mini Card slots and one SIM card slot for Wi-Fi, 3G/4G and LoRa connections. The DIN-rail embedded system is equipped with onboard 512MB DDR3 SDRAM; besides, they have an 8GB eMMC flash memory. A comprehensive analysis of PV modules includes many different parameters. Determining the normal module operating temperature (NMOT), incidence angle effects and comparing soiling effects on different modules up to the initial degradation of PV modules are all parameters that can be analyzed with our outdoor exposure tester. The tester comes with up to twelve electronic loads installed in a 19" rack. The loads have two main functions: maximum power point tracking (MPPT) and IV curve tracing. For the advanced analysis, it is possible to change between these two modes within one test. In the normal operation mode, the electronic load keeps the module under MPP and each predefined interval an IV curve is traced. The entire tester comes with all necessary sensors such as temperature sensor, which can be attached to the module to determine the NMOT temperature like defined in IEC 61215 (MQT 05) and IEC 61853-2. The irradiation sensor is also included. In combination with our tracking system P2, it is also possible to determine incident angle effects of the PV module. It is also possible to connect other irradiation sensors for diffuse and direct irradiation, which helps to understand the behavior of the module in different irradiation conditions. An optional albedo meter is a powerful tool for the analysis of bifacial modules. The entire graphical user interface is web based and offers the possibility to access the system from the all computers in the network.
