R&D and test engineers who need to characterize serial interfaces of up to 32.0 Gb/s can use the M8061A 2:1 Multiplexer with optional de-emphasis to extend the rate of J-BERT M8020A and J-BERT N4903B pattern generator. For the most accurate receiver characterization results, the M8061A provides four calibrated de-emphasis taps, which can be extended to eight taps, built-in superposition of level interference and Clock/2 jitter injection. The M8061A is a 2-slot AXIe module that can be controlled via USB from the user interface of J-BERT M8020A as well as N4903B.

These MUX's are designed to simplify the connection of a common set of test equipment to one of a number of different devices for testing (simultaneous multiple channel selection is also possible, without limitation). The 40-666 is a high current multiplexer available in dual 3-channel or single 6-channel configurations occupying two slots of PXI chassis. Each multiplexer switch uses a fully isolated solid state relay which has been designed to offer fast operation under hot switching conditions and high inrush current with no operational life degradation. Each multiplexer channel can support 10A of continuous current and switch up to 200V signals. The switches can sustain inrush currents in excess of 50A. AC or DC signals can be switched since the switch is polarity insensitive. Note: The 40-666-011 supersedes the 40-666-001 which is functionally the same but with some changes in specification. A data sheet for the 40-666-001 can be found in the40-666/667 User Manual.
