The R&S®ATS1500C radar test chamber is a compact antenna test range (CATR), consisting of a gold-plated parabolic reflector and a two-axis positioner for 3D movements of the radar module. Combined with the R&S®AREG800A target simulator and other Rohde & Schwarz test and measuring instruments, it can be used for a variety of applications, including antenna characterization, module calibration, RF performance validation, interference testing or in-band compliance testing. The chamber is equipped with a universal feed antenna which gives access to both polarizations in parallel. Automated temperature testing over the range of -40 to 85°C is possible with an optional enclosure.

The PeakTech 2715 is a loop tester which is used to test the safety of electrical systems. These device measures the impedance of the short-circuit loop between the outer conductors of a circuit, whereby the probable short-circuit current is calculated. The protection of the circuit (miniature circuit breaker) must therefore trigger at a lower current than the expected short-circuit current, in order to avoid excessive heating of the lines and thus a fire risk. The PeakTech 2715 is due to its function and its robust design almost indispensable when performing new installations, but also for general checking of electrical systems, this device is the ideal companion.

The Type NVF-2 series of handheld directional antennas are used to locate interfering signals or noise in either the 420 – 470 MHz (Type NVF-2A) or the 900 MHz ISM band or cellular telephone bands (Type NVF-2B). Both models incorporate a solid reflector positioned behind a resonated half wave driven element, both elements being mounted on a fiberglass rod with an integral pistol grip. The configuration of the reflector and driven element are such that a deep null in the signal being received will occur when the antenna is pointed in the direction of the signal being radiated. A T-pad resistive attenuator is also incorporated in the antenna mounting enclosure to aid in the direction finding process on very strong signals or when excessive reflections present multiple returns.
