90 Degree Hybrid Couplers To 500 MHz

Hybrid couplers with bandwidths as broad as 125:1 are available for applications within 100 kHz to 500 MHz. Power handling is 1 watt maximum for a load VSWR of 1.2:1 or better. These hybrids have an isolation of 20 dB and phase balance of 3 degrees. Most models have a VSWR of 1.4:1 or better throughout their operating bandwidths.Pulsar Microwave currently offers these hybrid couplers packaged in three outlines, including an SMT version. Standard offering of connectorized packages 412 and 442 are with SMA female connectors. Outline 412 may be customized with any combination of BNC, TNC, F or N connectors. Outline E is the surface mount version and requires less than one square inch of board area, making it well-suited for portable applications.

Our electromechanical assemblies are capable of receiving full functional testing through custom test fixtures and RF test. Some RF tests include Gain/Loss, Frequency Response, VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio), Inter-Modulation Distortion and Output Power.

Composite inductors are constructed by inserting a pre-wound coil over pre-press magnetic core and then pressing or molding a magnetic material around this assembly. The composite inductors are very similar to molded but typically offer lower DCR and lower overall losses. Our composite core inductors provide a fully shielded, high energy density, soft saturation solution for applications up to 120Apk.
