Ducommun has produced many high performance millimeterwave band sub-assemblies for commercial and military system applications. In addition, Ducommun has delivered Ka through W band engineering prototypes for plasma detection system, automotive Radar, speed Radar, automatic test set, radio telescope, missile terminal guidance, telecommunication system etc. applications.

R&S®SMZ frequency multipliers combine easy handling and precise output levels in the frequency range from 50 GHz to 170 GHz. They can be used in diverse applications, e.g. in the automotive sector with distance radars, in astronomy with sophisticated telescopes and in radar interferometry for analyzing the earth’s surface.The frequency multipliers are available in the R&S®SMZ75 (from 50 GHz to 75 GHz), R&S®SMZ90 (from 60 GHz to 90 GHz), R&S®SMZ110 (from 75 GHz to 110 GHz) and R&S®SMZ170 (from 110 GHz to 170 GHz) models. An optional attenuator (available for R&S®SMZ75, R&S®SMZ90 and R&S®SMZ110) can be integrated in the same housing as the frequency multiplier, simplifying handling. The R&S®SMZ can be controlled via USB.

The 9025 is a 25 module receiver designed to fit into a standard 19" rack. This model is equipped with a telescopic handle on the left side. This handle is designed to rest flush against the side of the receiver as a standard handle, or can be extended out to the left up to 3" to accommodate a larger ITA enclosure or other obstruction that may prevent normal handle operation/ engagement.As with the standard 9025, a microswitch is included. Mounting flanges and an instrument bracket are also included for slide mounting. A slide kit is required, but not included. The legs are designed to alleviate added weight from your enclosure by giving the platform extra support. Each kit includes two legs which have a mounting block for attachment to the receiver platform. The legs are adjustable in height from 27 inches to 36 inches in 1 inch increments using the telescoping feature of the legs. The leveling guide can be adjusted to exact heights between the 1 inch increments.
