The DPM-3 is a smart Plug & Play TEDS IEEE 1451.4 compliant Digital Panel Mount Load Cell meter. Just plug in a TEDS compatible Load Cell or Torque Sensor and the DPM-3 will automatically self-calibrate. When used with a non-TEDS Load Cell or Torque Sensor, the DPM-3 can be set up by simple front panel push buttons. The DPM-3 can be scaled to a full 5 digit display from 0 to 99,999 counts to read directly in engineering units such as grams, ounces, pounds, etc. The DPM-3 samples 60 readings per second (50 for 50Hz operation) for fast control response and true peak/valley reading capability. The meter has an adaptive digital filter that can automatically select the best time constant for minimum noise, yet respond rapidly to an actual change in signal level. The peak and valley values can be displayed by a push of a button on the front panel. Auto-tare allows the meter to be set to zero for any input signal level. Available options include dual relays, analog output, serial communications, and low voltage power supply.

ADLINK’s PCI-9812 and PCI-9810 are 4-CH, 10 or 12-bit, 20 MS/s simultaneous-sampling analog input cards. The high-speed analog input channels are single-ended, with hardware programmable input ranges of ±1 V, ±5 V and input impedances of 50 Ω, 1.25 k Ω and 15 M Ω. The onboard 32 k-sample A/D FIFO can buffer so data throughput is less than 100 Mbytes/s, the FIFO performs as the temporary A/D sample buffer, and as a rule of thumb, no data loss will occur. When four channels operate at 20 MS/s simultaneously, each sample generates two bytes, resulting in 160 Mbyes/s (4 channels * 20 M * 2 bytes) throughput, which exceeds the peak 132 Mbyte/s bandwidth of PCI bus. To avoid data loss, the 32 k-sample FIFO is the limitation of sample count. In addition to the onboard 40 MHz time base, users are able to supply the external time base in either sine wave or digital forms. The PCI-9810 and PCI-9812 also feature external digital trigger and programmable analog trigger, thus the conversion start point of multiple cards can be synchronized to external events. The trigger modes include software-trigger, pre-trigger, post-trigger, middle-trigger and delay trigger, further expands the capabilities of these high-speed devices. The LS-71P PCI D/A Converter (DAC) board provides high speed analog outputs of PCM decommutated data allowing real time data displays using strip chart recorders or similar devices. The LS-71-P board is designed to be used in conjunction with the Lumistar LS-50-P Multifunction PCM Decommutator boards and uses an over-the-top communication bus directly from the decom to the DAC to avoid any glitches in the analog outputs due to PCI bus activity. Direct “mailbox” type access is also provided to allow the user to send information through the PCI bus to the DACs. The DAC board design allows 2 LS-50-D Multifunction decom boards to be used with a single DAC board allowing tagged data from either data stream to be directed to any DAC channel. An optional LS-71-DB Word Selector Daughterboard allows two additional data streams to be monitored with the ability to select channels from 4 data streams to be displayed on any DAC channel. The design incorporates an extremely large memory (more than 200,000 16-bit words) used as a lookup table allowing linear or non-linear EUconversions with constant delay regardless of the number of polynomial coefficients required. Standard product supports a single decom, however, dual decom support is available as an option.
