Module
The Temperature Input Module for Remote I/O features a features a thermocouple input range of ±100 mV and a voltage input range of ±5 V. It also has an adjustable filter time for improved measurement quality and optional external CJC or PT100 RTD measurements.A remote I/O system consists of an EtherCAT bus coupler and individual modules mounted on a DIN rail. You control the Temperature Input Module for Remote I/O from a real‐time controller, such as a CompactRIO Controller or an Industrial Controller. The 1553-USB-PIU is a Portable Interface Unit providing full MIL-STD-1553 test, simulation and bus analysis capability in a compact self-contained unit, to connect via a USB interface to suitable host systems. The unit provides support for all 1553A, 1553B, McAir and STANAG 3838 variants in a self contained battery operated unit, and is supplied with a matching power supply and battery charger unit for desk-top use. The 1553-USB-PIU supports concurrent Bus Controller (BC) and up to 31 Remote Terminals (RT) with Bus Monitor (BM). An additional stand-alone Chronological Bus Monitor (CBM) facility is also provided, with comprehensive multi-level triggering capability. Full error injection capability is provided in BC and RT modes, with full error detection in BC, RT, BM and CBM modes. The unit provides a variable amplitude dual redundant 1553 interface. 2 Mbytes of dual ported RAM are provided. The unit is supplied with "C" Driver library, together with a Windows GUI, providing a user friendly software tool for all 1553 set-ups, data management and storage.

Sometimes your sensors or the piece of equipment you are trying to control is not in a convenient place to have a PC close by. The sensors may be widely distributed through out your plant and it just wouldn’t be cost effective to run all your wiring to where the PC is. In addition, low level signals are more accurately acquired when digitized close to the signal source. In all these cases our REMOTE ACCES line of products will help. The REMOTE ACCES pods are intelligent, sensor to computer interfaces. Each pod can be used as an autonomous data logger to acquire data for later download. Or as many as 31 pods may be connected on a single two wire multidrop RS-485 network allowing a cable distance of up to 4000 ft. You can also go wireless and extend your range by adding RS-485 wireless transceivers to your serial port. Each unit comes in a rugged NEMA 4 enclosure and can withstand harsh industrial and marine environments.
