More stable application of EDFA is possible through the monitoring of the factors such as in/out signal power, gain, alarm status and pump LD enabled by the application of FPGA processor which makes high speed driving possible. It is also set up that user’s present-time monitoring and control through LCD monitor of system main frame or GUI display for remote control can be possible. The A910 is a short circuit locator designed for fault location in power cables. The instrument measures the ratio of the resistances of the two sections of failed conductor using a four-wire "Kelvin" connection, thus eliminating errors associated with contact resistances of the test leads. With the A910 you can determine if the cable has more than a short and locate the first and the last fault. The instrument locates fault with an insulation resistance up to 5 Mohms in cables that have a total resistance greater than 5mohm (approximately 90 m of 300 sqmm cable) and less than 30 kohms. The distance to fault is measured as a percentage of the total length of cable and is displayed on a large LCD display.
