GCI's Automated Connector Tester is a self-contained test bench providing reliable testing of filtered and non-filtered electrical connectors. The ACT automates the tedious process of testing each pin against all others and shell for DC and AC leakage. For filter connectors, the ACT accurately measures pin-to-shell capacitance. For pins protected by diodes, the ACT provides leakage and breakdown measurements. The ACT also verifies pins which are intentionally shorted to each other or to the shell.

The PX8500 is an external 8-channel relay board for the connection of digital output boards. It can be cascaded in 16, 24 and 32 relays and is intended for mounting on DIN supporting rails. The board provides a convenient interface between an industrialprocess and the SUB-D connectors on ADDI-DATA boards. The change-over contacts of the relay are controlled through 24 V signals. The 24 V voltage supply is protected through varistors and transil diodes. The board is intended for the use with 220 V supply. Each version of the 5821 provides the capability of precise 4-wire measurement. In order to achieve this, a precise 500μA constant current source is provided per channel. The current source can be disabled on a per channel basis and is monitored to ensure that current is flowing. The value of the output current is stored on-board after calibration. Broadband Detectors

These waveguide bandwidth detectors use silicon beam lead diodes on a planar stripline circuit to obtain an extremely rugged and compact device. Most millimeter wave broadband detectors have very poor VSWR due to the difficulty in obtaining a good wideband impedance match to the diode. To overcome this problem, these detectors utilize two diodes and an internal matched termination and 3 dB hybrid as shown below. This circuit allows a VSWR of 2.0 or better over a full waveguide bandwidth for most of these detectors. Detectors for waveguides WR-8 and smaller use a single zero bias GaAs diode. The high sensitivity zero bias GaAs diodes can also be special ordered for use at lower frequencies when highest sensitivity is required.
