The AD16-250 series has two or four 250 MS/sec 16-bit ADCs, 8GB of on-board memory and the ability to transfer data directly into the host computer's memory at over 1 GB/sec. Streaming to the host computer can be performed simultaneously with acquisition to on-board memory, increasing the effective acquisition length by using the host computer's memory. Dual and quad channel boards sample concurrently at the input clock frequency, and can also be software selected to run in single channel mode, providing up to four (4) times the effective memory depth.

The A/D on the PCI-9114DG device features a sampling rate of 100 kS/s with resolution at 16 bits, while PCI-9114A-DG/HG device features a sampling rate of up to 250kS/s with resolution at 16 bits. The SparkFun LiPo Fuel Gauge connects your battery to your project and uses a sophisticated algorithm to detect relative state of charge and direct A/D measurement of battery voltage. In other words, it tells your microcontroller how much 'fuel' is left in the tank. The LiPo Fuel Gauge communicates with your project over I2C and an alert pin also tells you when the charge has dropped below a certain percentage.
