It has a USB port for simple data transfer and an SD card for saving measurement data and parameters. The measuring system also facilitates the recognition and saving of peak values and the adjustment of thresholds for limit values. The unit can be used for series and individual measurements. The data can be easily analyzed and documented with the PC software included in the scope of delivery. The MAGNETOSCOP 1.070 thus facilitates the portable and fast measurement of the relative permeability within the scope of the quality control of stainless steel and low-permeable (non-magnetic) alloys as well as the localization of ferrite enclosures. Changes in material (sulfidation, degradation of lamination, structural changes) can also be proven thanks to permeability comparative measurements.

The SparkFun MLX90393 Magnetometer Breakout is a triple-axis magnetic sensor board capable of sensing very small fields, while still behaving as one would expect during saturation in larger fields (like a nearby magnet). The MLX90393 breakout can be used as a compass sensor but also works well as a non-contact controller, a flow meter with a magnetic impeller, or a linear actuator position sensor. To make it even easier to to get your readings, all communication is enacted exclusively via I2C, utilizing our handy Qwiic system. Electrical measurements of physiological potentials are well established in clinical diagnostics. The flow of an electrical current creates a corresponding magnetic field. Thus bioelectric activity will generate biomagnetic fields. These fields can be detected with Tristan SQUID magnetometers. For many of the classical electrical techniques such as ECG and EEG, there are corresponding magnetic techniques (magnetocardiography or MCG and magnetoencephalography or MEG). In some cases (magnetopneumography, hepatic iron store measurements, intestinal ischemia, peripheral nerve and muscle activity), there is no corresponding electrical technique and biomagnetic measurements offer unique measurement capabilities. Unlike CT or MRI imaging which yield structural information, biomagnetic measurements offer real-time functional imaging.
