Osprey AUV – Teledyne's latest member of its underwater vehicle family provides customers with a longer endurance, greater payload capacity, while still maintaining our history of true modularity.The Osprey AUV builds upon the Gavia the world's first truly open and modular AUV. The Osprey AUV has a 324 mm diameter in order to carry additional energy allowing for extended operational endurances in excess of 24 hours (configuration dependent) while maintaining the same 1000 meter depth rating of the proven Gavia design. Added features include an efficient rim drive thruster, external data pod, increased capacity battery modules, science bay, obstacle avoidance and forward looking sonar nose, and customizable payloads.

The Model SSC/924 Stroke-to-Video Scan Converter converts stroke video from XYZ vector to a standard video format. Stroke video is generated by a variety of random deflection devices, including certain radar and sonar devices, spectrum analyzers, and Heads Up Display (HUD) generators. High Definition, Standard Definition, and VESA video output standards are provided. After conversion, the video can be recorded using standard video recording devices and viewed using low cost, off-the-shelf monitors.

Teledyne BlueView's 3D Multibeam Scanning Sonar user interface software. ProScan connects to the sonar and pan/tilt unit, configures each scan, generates full 3D point clouds, and optionally streams output to third party hydrographic software for fusion with other sensors. Data is recorded in multiple file formats: .son (raw acoustic data file for ProScan reprocessing), .txt (plain text record of all point locations and positional data) and .xyzi (industry standard xyzi data for 3D point cloud viewers, registration software, etc.). In playback mode, users can review and reprocess scans to modify sound speed, intensity threshold, multidetect and range settings as needed. ProScan coupled with Teledyne PDS MotionScan, pitch, roll heading and position sensors provides the capability to scan areas to collect 3D point clouds while correcting for motion.

THE SONAR TRANSPONDER MODULE (STM), is a module for receiving and retransmitting sonar signals which allows for a standard Gavia vehicle to be configured as a Sonar Training Target (STT) for ASW training purposes. The STM consist of a flooded transducer compartment, an electronic compartment and a hydrophone that is towed behind the Gavia AUV and is capable of simulating preprogrammed target characteristics.
