VisualIMPACT Software
-
CEAST VisualIMPACT software is designed to control CEAST Pendulums and Drop Tower Series, manage tests and offer a user-friendly interface when using the Data Acquisition System. It records force and absorbed energy data related to impacts, visualizes and helps analyze the results and calculates resilience. The operator is guided through parameters setup by means of tables describing strikers and specimens that are filtered according to the test type and international standard selected. In the case of instrumented tests, many possibilities for data analysis and visualization are made available. The results are shown through comprehensive and customizable graphs and can be filtered by break type (only specimens with a selected break type are shown). Working with groups of test, the software performs a statistical analysis, and the operator can pick and discard single test results. Different measurement units can be selected. It is possible to print reports and to export data totally or partially. Recent improvements include the possibility to set a number of user profiles, including graphic settings, default printing options, advanced parameters for data analysis and so on, switching quickly from one another when looking at results. The introduction of a new Data Acquisition System (CEAST DAS 64K) in the Impact product line has also triggered a number of new capabilities for the SW, which is now able to process a more comprehensive calibration file for instrumented tups and hammers and manage DAS configurations with a wider range of data acquisition channels.

Mechanical Wedge Action Grips
2716 Series
-
The Instron mechanical wedge action grips are durable tensile grips designed to automatically increase clamping force as test loads rise, maintaining fixed jaw positions and preventing slippage. Their open-front, moving-body design allows easy specimen insertion while ensuring consistent gauge length and minimal compressive force during clamping, making them a versatile gripping solution and particularly suitable for testing high-strength materials such as metals and composites.

Furnaces
-
These three zone resistance wire wound furnaces are of split construction to facilitate fast and easy loading of a pre-assembled specimen train. The case is constructed from stainless steel with aluminium and hardened insulation board end plates. The optional front cut-out allows the use of side-entry high-temperature extensometry. Adjustable stainless steel latches keep the furnace halves locked together during use, but are then easily opened once testing is complete. The furnace is available with optional heavy duty brackets or mountings, which attach to a wide range of testing systems. An extensive range of standard controllers is available to suit most test regimes. Custom variants can be specified should the standard range not include a suitable unit.

6-Axis Robotic Automated Testing System
AT6
-
The Instron AT6 is a flexible, robot-assisted testing solution featuring six axes of motion, purpose-built to automate tensile, compression, flexural, and lap shear testing in alignment with widely used ASTM and ISO standards. Its modular design accommodates a broad array of materials—including metals, polymers, elastomers, films, composites, and sutures—at force capacities up to 600 kN. Capable of processing up to 500 specimens without operator intervention, the AT6 enables true unattended or “lights-out” operation, significantly increasing throughput around the clock. Optional modules include stations for specimen measurement, automated strain measurement, environmental temperature chambers, and multiple test frames for simultaneous testing. The system also integrates smoothly with auxiliary devices such as durometers, hardness testers, and surface roughness testers, making it a robust solution for high-volume, high-efficiency testing environments.
