Six precision decades are employed to provide a range of 0 to 1.11111 F in increments of 1 pF and with an accuracy of 0.05% +0.5pF. Air capacitors are used for the two lower decades and highest grade mechanically stabilized sealed India Ruby mica capacitors are used for the remainder. Air trimmers are used for trimming the two lowest silvered-mica decades. The stability of the 1413 is such that it should not require readjustment with normal service. However, should it become desirable,the four lower decades contain trimmer capacitors that are accessible for this purpose.

Some can even detect the wind direction. The most common unit of measurement for air flow is m/s.Air Flow Meters are basically mass flow meters, as they determine the air velocity and air pressure by measuring the mass flow of a medium, which is air in this case.The results of measuring the air velocity can be stored in the Air Flow Meter's memory, depending on the model. There are a lot of Air Flow Meters available. The air flow meter is ideal for taking quick or constant measurements including monitoring of ventilation installations, process checking, industrial applications, use in private workshops or by nautical enthusiasts or for other hobbies, etc.At PCE, you can find the right air flow meter to use indoors and outdoors. The thermo-hygrometer measures both humidity of the air and temperature of the air. The thermo-hygrometer measures different ranges of humidity and temperature depending on the model. The thermo-hygrometer is versatile in that it can take measurements, store them to memory and transfer data to a computer for further detailed analysis. The thermo-hygrometer usually offers contactless working which enables non-destructive measurements. The thermo-hygrometer is very useful in evaluating damage in a warehouse. Many warehouses need to be at an exact temperature, with a specific level of humidity. e.g. for flowers or food. A difference in temperature and / or humidity would mean that the stored products get damaged or even destroyed.In households, the temperature and humidity or moisture content is also important. The optimal environmental conditions for humans are around 20°C / 68°F and 50-65% air humidity.
