In contrary to digital charge integration, the analog integrator accuracy does not depend on the frequncy of data sampling and can resolve small changes disregarding the data sampling rate. In case of pulsed signals, the analogue integration produces reliable results without requiring high data transfer rates.

Linearizers with freely selectable parameters are designed for industrial applications in which non-linear analog signals or frequencies are to be linearized on the display and at the analog and data outputs. Depending on requirements, devices with 19 to 4000 linearization points are manufactured. The linearization can be entered directly via the device keyboard or via the serial interface from the PC. Several linearization methods are available, such as direct overwriting of the display with the desired value, table with setpoint and actual values or polynomial linearization.

The integrating sphere is used for total luminous flux measurement. It uniforms the light by spatially integrating the collected light of light source. The integrating sphere has highly reflective diffusing plates formed on the spheres internal surfaces. These plates repeatedly scatter light rays from the light source with in the sphere to all other points to deliver uniform brightness distribution so measuring a portion of that light gives the total luminous flux. These years, the usage of integrating sphere for total luminous flux evaluation of light source is increasing. The large size integrating sphere over 1.5M is required for measuring a high brightness light source and a long light source such as fluorescent light.

Teledyne RF & Micrrowave's Six Channel 2 - 18 GHz (RF and LO) downconverter operates with an IF of ~960 MHz, providing 25 dB of RF-IF gain, and bandwidth of ~500 MHz. This downconverter operates on a single LO at -6 dBm which is amplified, split, then again amplified to each of the 6 channels. Integrated into each channel is a range extension switch, controlled by a TTL input and adding 20 dB attenuation. Noise figure is ~ 13.5 dB and output IP3 is ~+25 dBm. We offer integrating spheres made from a special polymer suitable for the wavelength range 250nm – 2.5 µm. For longer wavelengths in the range 700nm – 20 µm, a gold coating on a rough, metallic surface is used. Since lasers in this spectral range are usually also high power, we use solid copper as a thermally conductive substrate material. By choosing the size of the integrating sphere, the overall sensitivity of the system can be adjusted. In addition, the detector is independent of inhomogeneities in power density and polarization.
