Four Channel Load Cell Interface Card Model LCIC-4HS The LCIC-4HS is a four channel load-cell interface board for the IBM PC/AT and compatible computers (ISA Bus). This board was especially designed to fit very fast and real-time weighing applications such as multi-head fillers. It supports up to four channels with one load-cell on each. All the necessary filters and the batching control functions are built on the board and are easily accessible by the user. Direct communication with the PC bus and high-frequency sampling enables the LCIC-4HS to handle all real-time applications and to achieve very high accuracy. The LCIC-4HS is memory-mapped. Up to 32 boards (128 channels) may be installed in a single PC. It comes with a detailed user manual and software utilities for easy installation and calibration as well as full examples for the programmer (including Win 95/98 drivers).

The CS-3A Cell Stand is adopted with CHI series Electrochemical Analyzers and other apparatus directly. The cell is enclosed in a Faraday cage to reduce electrical interference. A built-in gas control allows purging a sample. Gas line is provided to purge next sample, while analyzing the present sample separately, thus increasing productivity. Magnetic stirrer allows for controlling the mixing of the sample for experiments requiring mass transport of electrolyte or analyte to the electrode surface. Cell top positioner with detachable cell cap allows easy removal and replacement of the cell vial as well as the electrodes for rinsing, cleaning, and replacement.

The Battery Fault Insertion Unit (FIU) provides intelligent switching of cell-simulation channels for the Battery Simulator 1200. Additionally, a four-wire auxiliary input allows you to connect an external digital multimeter (DMM) instrument to any cell channel for very high-accuracy bypass current and cell voltage measurements. The Falco Systems WMA-02 is a high voltage amplifier that runs from an 24 - 30V DC power supply and can be battery powered if required, e.g. for use in a Faraday cage. Its internal high voltage generator is inductor-free and hence does not spread magnetic interference in sensitive experimental setups. The output noise is impressively low at 4mVrms. For extremely low noise applications where bandwidth is not an issue, a dedicated WMA-02LF version is available that contains an output low pass filter capacitor which reduces the bandwidth to 50Hz, but makes the noise drop to below 0.2mVrms. This bandwidth-limited amplifier is ideal for MEMS or piezo positioning with manual voltage adjustment.
