Making a product “safe” requires an understanding of “hazards” that exist in each electrical product. Electrical shock is one of the four fundamental hazards. Because of that, it must be a part of any product electrical safety evaluation. Even though a product requires an electrical power source and uses electrical or electronic components, it should not present an electrical shock hazard to the user.Ground bond or earth continuity testing prevents electrical shock hazards. Similarly to a fault to earth, test instruments generate a high current. The standard requires that the resistance between protective earth and any conductive surface on the equipment does not exceed 0,1 Ohm. The test is performed by applying a DC current between the conductive surface and protective earth. By measuring the voltage drop, it calculates the resistance.RMO-E instruments are ideal for testing the protective bonding (grounding) of equipment following the standard IEC 61010-1. Applying current up to the value of 100 A and the ability to provide in the Contin menu (continuous operation) test current for the pre-set test duration (equal or exceeding 1 min) gives a user a possibility to easily check the protective bonding/grounding of the equipment. The full load voltage of 12 V assures proper measurement and accurate result. Finally, an instrument displays pass/fail classification according to user-preset parameters.

The two banks may be used for operating a 4-wire measurement system (bank-1 for source, bank-2 for measure). Larger matrices may be constructed by daisy chaining the common signals from multiple PXI Modules.

The instrument has no analogue unit, thus it is very simple to overcome the zero drift that is impossible to be avoided in traditional colorimeter. The digital sensor has a large dynamic range. Moreover, it possesses strong anti-interference ability and it has high accuracy. The XYL-VI Luminance Colorimeter contains internal RS232 computer interface. The calibration is done by software. It is suitable for monitoring and remote applications. The XYL-VI Luminance Colorimeter can be calibrated by XYL-VI Luminance Colorimeter software to sample the data and print out the results. It can also be corrected by other standard light sources to obtain very high measuring accuracy of x, y color coordinates and color temperature. It is a real-time measuring system and run under Windows2000/XP.

The MOS-01 manual oscillator module is used as a quality, general-purpose sinewave oscillator and digital readout monitoring system in the MAC-01, -02, or -03 AC Power Sources/Frequency Converters. The unit has guaranteed operating range of 20 HZ to 20 KHZ which is covered in three one-decade scales. The LCD digital metering system is switch-selectable to readout either frequency, voltage or current. A toggle switch selects the input for the attached AC Power Source/Frequency Converter to originate from the manual oscillator itself or from an external laboratory or programmable oscillator source. With oscillator mode switch in Internal position, the BNC connector delivers the signal to drive additional slave units or for oscilloscope sync or monitoring.
