The Model T360 CO2 analyzer measures Carbon Dioxide by comparing infrared energy absorbed by a sample to that absorbed by a reference gas according to the Beer-Lambert law. Using a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, a high-energy IR light source is alternately passed through a CO2 filled chamber and a chamber with no CO2 present. The light path then travels through the sample cell, which has a folded path of 2.56 meters.The energy loss through the sample cell is compared with the reference signal provided by the filter wheel to produce a signal proportional to concentration, with little effect from interfering gases within the sample. These high stability variable frequency optical choppers each include a set of chemically blackened photoetched chopping discs. The mini chopper is an excellent choice for applications requiring a compact package. The chopping discs come in a variety of slot apertures and allow operation. Beam diameter is limited to 0.75mm when using the 200-slot disc and 1.0mm when using the 40 slot mini disc. The easy-to-interchange blades are made of non-magnetic, half hard brass and can be used in combination. Chopping frequency is set by adjusting a ten-turn dial or by applying an external DC voltage to the BNC input. Reference output is a TTL pulse and is in-phase with chopping action. The 5 digit led display gives a direct read-out of the chopping frequency. Power: 90-130V or 180-260V; 50/60Hz; 12VA max. Power supply included. Choppers are often used together with lock-in amplifiers.

The key to designing an AWD dynamometer properly is to understand the methods currently being used by manufacturers in the field of AWD drivetrain technology. A dynamometer that can accommodate various types of AWD vehicle transmissions and wheelbases without excessive complication and, more importantly, without risking damage to a client’s AWD system is paramount. Full time AWD vehicles are designed to provide maximum performance regardless of road conditions. In cases where traction is less than ideal, a vehicle may be designed to improve stability and traction at the expense of power. This means adding torque to a spinning wheel or retarding of timing. In order to properly test an AWD vehicle for peak performance, an AWD chassis dynamometer must be able to simulate ideal road-load conditions to the vehicle. This approach allows the vehicle to be evaluated under “optimum” operational conditions; whereby torque is distributed to the vehicle’s tires in the same manner that would normally occur when a vehicle has equal traction at all four drive wheels, and is therefore operating at peak efficiency. To achieve this, Mustang’s AWD-500 Series incorporates an internal drive system that synchronizes the front and back rollers to simulate a flat, dry road condition. Synchronization, or linkage, insures that the front and rear rollers are always spinning at precisely the same road speed. This process eliminates the possibility of activating a vehicle’s traction control system and also insures that a vehicle’s torque management system is operating under the assumption that the vehicle is not skidding, turning or slipping. Mustang’s AWD-500 can be operated in AWD Mode while testing two-wheel drive vehicles. This process allows the non-driven axle to be spun by the dynamometer rollers at the same speed as the driven axle, eliminating the speed differential that occurs on two-wheel drive dynamometers – problem solved.

Our lines of high frequency VNA test cables display excellent electrical properties such as wonderful phase stability of +/- 6° at 50 GHz and +/- 8° at 67 GHz as well as VSWR of 1.3:1 at 50 GHz and 1.4:1 at 67 GHz. The 50 GHz assemblies are terminated with 2.4mm connectors while the 67 GHz versions utilize 1.85mm connectors. The braided stainless steel armoring surrounding the coax provides a rugged, but flexible cable with a flex life exceeding 100,000 cycles, making these test cables ideal for use in semiconductor probe testing, precise bench top testing as well as lab/production testing where the need for a highly flexible, yet durable cable solution is required. The VNA test cables are also equipped with rugged stainless steel connectors that provide up to 5,000 mating cycles when attached with proper care. Additionally, the flexibility of these cables makes it easier and safer to test a Device Under Test (DUT). A swept right angle 2.4mm and 1.855mm connector option allows these cables to fit in tight spaces and can reduce the length of cable required in many applications.
